> 🐙 **GitHub issue [crowdsec\_manager #123](https://github.com/hhftechnology/crowdsec_manager/issues/123)**, opened by **`mrprofessork`** on GitHub

When manually adding decisions and selecting permanent, the decision doesn’t get added. Adding the same decision with a 30 day ban for example works.

There are no errors in the ui when this happens.

module=lapi
time=“2026-06-14T02:05:45Z” level=info msg=“(localhost/cscli) Manual decision via UI by range /24 : 0 ban on Range /24” module=db

That is the corresponding log entry. So it looks like it is added but not visible in cscli or the ui.

> Adjusting the number works as well (90 day ban instead of 30), but as mrprofessork mentioned, selecting Permanent does nothing.

> The [documentation](https://crowdsec-manager-docs.vercel.app/docs/features/ip-management) also mentions you could ban IPs via the IP management - which is not the case.
