is there a dump from the database also include in the backup?
I mean can I use the backup for a new vps if my vps crash?

yes, its is. the entire config folder is covered

If the service is not stopped, the database cannot become corrupted.

I had PostgreSQL for Testing.

I think its better to start again with sqlite
